UNTAMED — A Journey Into the Wild is a cinematic, interactive wildlife website that brings the atmosphere of the jungle to the screen. Blending immersive storytelling, rich imagery, and scroll-driven motion, it invites visitors to slow down, look closer, and discover the natural world.
The experience begins in a lush forest and unfolds as visitors scroll. A safari explorer emerges, raising binoculars that become the gateway to a closer view of the wilderness. Through the lenses, a Bengal tiger gradually appears, moves into focus, and opens its mouth in a dramatic final encounter. The journey ends with a prominent left-side menu, inviting visitors to explore the rest of the website.
Across six pages, UNTAMED combines discovery with thoughtful interaction. Expeditions features parallax landscapes and illustrative itineraries through different habitats. Species presents an interactive wildlife gallery with relevant photographs, habitat filters, search, and detailed profiles. Conservation explores connected forests, living rivers, and canopy habitats through selectable stories and practical action checklists. Field Notes offers wildlife observations and editorial articles, while Contact provides an inquiry form with a copyable message draft.
Deep forest greens, warm gold accents, elegant typography, and generous spacing create a cohesive visual identity. Responsive layouts, keyboard-accessible controls, and reduced-motion support help make the experience approachable across devices.
Built with React, TypeScript, and a Next.js-compatible Vinext/Vite setup, UNTAMED is a wildlife storytelling showcase designed to inspire curiosity, appreciation, and care for the wild.
